This game is very good, especially for a Ludum Dare game, but there's alot holding it back. The game lags alot when you get the burning or glob upgrades, eventually making the game practically unplayable. It would also be helpful if i could actually get info on what consuming the various items do instead of taking a guess. Other small stuff like the Spider Boss's babies being a bit too bullshit and the boss hitboxes not interacting with my bullets make this a 3 Star for me.

I like this alot. I really like the artstyle. The gameplay though could be a tiny bit better, but i enjoyed it for what it was. I feel like there should be more punishment for dying, the game is pretty generous with it's checkpoints and forgives careless deaths caused by the player, which makes the game a breeze to walk through if you just brute force your way through. But despite that, this was pretty fun. I've yet to try the EX Boss Rush, but even without it this game is pretty good.

For being a game jam game, it's pretty good. My suggestion if you plan on expanding on this more is to add more content besides just the clicking. Other than that, good game.

I like this game alot, reminds me of games like Getting Over It. It's a very nice, short and sweet experience. I liked the art and the little noises the characters made. Honestly there's not a thing i don't like about this game, except for one thing, the physics. I mean, they are fine, but they could use a bit more work. The sensitivity of the sword swing is a bit too much, it would've been better if it was slowed down a tiny bit. Other than that, great game!

Pretty good, i like the concept! I just wish at first it told me what to do ingame rather than looking at the description, but i understand the game jam time constraints and such. Would like to see this expanded upon with a little more depth.

This is a sweet and somber game. I enjoyed it's message!

Alright now here are some thoughts

For one, please change the button to shoot. The E button gets in the way of WASD which makes it very easy to bump into spikes or a bullet. I would have much rather prefer right click to shoot instead.

The crate's hitboxes are a little wonky. There were times where i spent a total of 10 seconds trying to break one with the roll. I later understood you could also shoot them to break them open, so theres a nice compromise.

You can easily get ambushed by the skeletons, so i suggest making them a tiny bit slower for a little more breathing room.

In the first room, i didn't understand where to go until i gave the walls a hug. I suggest making the exits a little more clear to see so people fumble around alot. Another problem is that sometimes is when you enter a room, you are guaranteed to take a hit to a spike if your going too fast. Maybe have the spikes spread out a little more?

That's all i can say really, everything else was fine for me! Would like to see some more updates to the game soon! Take your time!

You had to hug the walls because the game is supposed be in a fullscreen ratio, as of November 25th I will fix this problem :) I am still working out how balanced the enemies should be, so your feedback on the skeletons speed will affect the enemy itself. Thank you.

I really like the concept of gaining things over time and getting stronger. This game doesn't make you STRONGER so to say.. But i really enjoyed it! Game was difficult at parts and i didn't really like the 3 second waiting time when you die, but that's a small complaint!

Your game was great! I have a few complaints though. One could do with more levels, but i understand that this was maybe intended to be short and sweet. Maybe another song could do, with me constantly have to hear the track loop over and over.

But point is, good game!
